The circus came to town, a feast for one and all

There's elephants a lion and stelt walkers tall

Everyone is going, tickets ready in hand

to awe at the acrobats, trapeze and monkey-band

The tent is striped, buzzing and hot

as the ringmaster announces the next bouncing lot

Chimps with colourful wear, doing their stuntedtricks

giving the roaring crowd their paid-forperformance fix

As the clown appear, spotlight illuminate for all to see

Smeared white face nose red, entertaining as can be

Im the funny one, yes look! the fool; thats me
