Completely Shattered

Terrible feelings have risen inside,

Yet they're embedded in my brain forever.

It doesn't matter what anyone says now,

Because it's over and done.

Shattered like glass, broken like a bell,

It will never sound again.

Pieces scattered around the floor,

But you've already walked out the door.

No help, no concern, or anything reassuring

That will make me feel better.

It doesn't matter anymore,

You don't matter anymore,

But I know that it's not the truth.

Instead, until we'll never meet again,

I'll still be hopelessly waiting for you.
