Shady

Darkness, night, gloom, dusk, and extinguished light are what fuel my core.

The breath, the whisper, the call of death awakens the curiosity inside me.

But until the light has faded, and the killing hours begin, am I complete.

Rising, falling, fading light has disturbed the quiet patience of the dark,

But it soon knows that time will be on its side, as it will hark,

“Let the bells of death ring across the land”

And all man shall hide, even though they know what has been coming to them,

As the chanting of the death anthem rings through their ears,

For death and darkness is known throughout all before years and years,

Yet I am the one who only cheers,

Cheering for the darkness to come, for someone to be sacrificed,

Because even though those have been naughty, there are still some that have been nice,

But no one is safe, as the grace of the death slowly rises and falls,

And it calls upon its demons to rise,

As the taken and dead souls ascend to the skies,

Because Death has arised.
