Something of a Beautiful Place
In my mind, I do not know what a beautiful place would consist of.
Yet, I am lying because I know it would involve at least you.
The first word that came to mind about you wouldn’t be beautiful.
You’re strong, mind-set, and in all ways,
Perfect.
You’re my beautiful place, not anything else.
How odd would it be,
Not to include anything else besides you.
Are you my definition of perfect, or my near-sighted definition
Of naïve infatuation.
Is the whole idea of this perfect place just an unformed idea of conspiracy,
Or something stupid that should never have happened?
I know that this perfect place is anything but perfect to anyone but me,
But who cares besides myself?
Why would it matter to anyone else, when the universe revolves around this magnificent place of wonder?
You’re my perfect place, despite anyone else’s protests, and that’s how it will always be.
NOTE: Sorry for making poems about one person. I just have something on my mind...
