Eye are used for more than just seeing.
They hold the emotion stored inside a being.
Though not many people can see what they hold.
I didn't used to, but now this power is starting to unfold.
When I look into somene's eyes,
I can see striaght through their disguise.
I can sense what emotion is racing through their head.
I can see into thier past, and almost what lies ahead.
I can tell if they are hurting, or if they arein pain.
I can sense confusion, anger and shame.
It all lies there, just behind a person's eyes.
And I've learned that each person brings on a new surprise.
Emotions are always engulfing me,
Blinding me so I can't see.
I sometimes wonder if everyone else can do the same,
And if I'm merely just a player in this game.
Or maybe there's something from this that I can earn,
And if everyone else still has something to learn.
