Speak to Me

My love has never failed me

?But that you did not care

You used to love, you used to care

The love that we once shared

?I cried at night, I cried all day

I cried for you and me

That one day you would love again

The love you had for me

?Maybe we should go

On our separte ways

Cut our losses, mend our wounds

Stop pushing the truth away

?Everyday is easier

For me to let you go

This poem I put my heart into

Just some things you need to know

?I know you thought I hurt you

You thought I did you wrong

But I was really helping you

Your peace in the midst of a storm

?Tell me, what else is left For me to do

What else is left to say

Cause no matter what I tell you

You bend the rules

And break my heart

And turn and run away

?Your life is catching up with you

It’s time you know its true

A little boy lost in the world

Not knowing what to do

?Farewell I say as I cast you out

For you to do your thing

But I will always pray for you and

Hold onto your ring

?
