Split Ends

I wanted to believe that you

would always stay the same

I thought I could protect you

'cause you couldn't bare the pain

You are the source of your destruction

which I thought you'd see

I cant keep holding onto you

I need to set you free

I really truly love you but

you're not the one for me

I need someone to care for me,

I need to be happy

We've had some happy times together,

yes i know it's true

but lovin' you's been hard enough

this relationship is through
