poem about losing yourself to love and other things

My shadow,

is peeking through,

my ego,

is shedding skin.

Heaven is burning in fire,

no one left to scribe the rules,

shattered pieces of the tools that they collected.

go away,

the gates are closing,

engulfed in this river of sin,

just kneel down and give in,

the voices are closing in.

bones,

are crushed and decaying,

head,

is spinning.

Praying in the temple,

that is frozen,

faith is dying,

holy water washing through the pores are crying,

dripping down to the sacred ground.

The walls are closing,

shutting in,

must give in.

war is approaching,

fire from the sky,

death on the shores,

bodies washing,

up on the beaches,

back stabbing bitches,

have risen.

Regurgitation,

of forced conversations.

conditioning to canonize,

gospel of this martyr.

promises,

the ones that we confess,

and he must listen.

Blood on the dagger,

fills the bowl that you worship,

evil creature,

whispers in your ear,

must give in.

Armies of truth,

no denying.

Broken ties,

the ones that bind.

Lovely vows,

the ones that bleed,

this crown of thorns.

Disrupting harmony.

Crawling around,

down on the ground,

must give in,

urges overtaken,

chaos overbearing,

just give in.
