You
with your bright blue eyes
were looking straight at my dull brown eyes
inducing me to believe
that we are going to last forever
You
with your big warm arms
were hugging my vulnerable soul
persuading me
that you are going to secure me
for eternity
You
with your soft luscious lips
were kissing me
convincing my fragile little heart
that no one is going to love me
more than you
In times of loneliness
you brought me affectionate words
yet
in times of my absence
you bestowed your heart to another
again and again
Once
you were staring at her
with your bright blue eyes
you thought I didn't know
but I forgave you
Twice
you were hugging another her
with your big warm arms
you thought I wasn't around
but I forgave you
Thrice
you were kissing a different her
with your ever luscious lips
you thought I wasn't watching
but this time
I could never forgive you
Do you remember
You once promised
to give me
a lovely mansion
a fairy-tale wedding
and three wonderful kids
of our own
Perhaps
they slipped out of your mind
accidentally
when you're trying to captivate
another heart
for your pleasure
Years after years
I finally realized
I had put all of my faith
in a beautiful deception
and
I had fallen in love
completely
with an alluring liar
