I. Memories
Remember
the manor we promised each other
built with a colossal pool
a huge lounge
a wide bed
Just you
cuddling my feeble body
through health and sickness
Just me
holding your strong hands
through joy and misery
Remember
the places we planned to go
Paris, London
Rome and Switzerland
Just you
kissing my lips
in the snow
Just me
stuffing croissants
in your mouth
Remember
the days we had spent
Happy times
Terrifying moments
Just you
letting me to win
in Monopoly again
Just me
clutching your palm so tightly
when thunder strikes the Earth
for the twentieth time
II Reality
Fate
no one can foresee
brisk and dynamic
were you yesterday
dead and motionless
are you today
I can't see you
when I'm awake
instead
blood
is all I see
I see a pool of blood
this is all
that destroys
our faithful promises
our impossible dreams
our daring hopes
our fond memories
You
Obliterated, gone
it happened so quickly
it caught me off guard
I learnt
that screaming at the desolate chamber
and crying alone at the corner
will do me nothing
but more tears and pain
III Succumbed
Your laughter
still echoes in the room
Your scent
still lingers on the bed
Your face
still carved in my mind
Your love
forever kept in my heart
Struggling to see
for you are my sight
Gasping for air
for you are the essence of my life
Barely hanging on
for you are my vital organ
my other half
When your soul was gone
so went my spirits
Only your breath
your love
can revive me
I will love you for eternity
for death can never do us apart
