I stand alone in this enormous crowd
completely engulfed by this swarm of humans
As people rush and hush
selfishly running to their destination
I tried my best to avoid bumping into them
Yet in this undesirable spot
Rough collision is inevitable
I stand alone in this narrow cliff
trying to figure out how I ended up here
As I glimpsed at the bottom
the waves are hitting the shores in anger
and the shores are moaning in agony
I tried my best to not lose my balance
Yet in this unsteady edge
Plummeting is certain to occur
I stand alone in this vast field
wandering everywhere aimlessly
hoping the exit is just in the vicinity
As my presence persisted in here
lifelessness and desolation were all I could feel
They were creepy, horrifying, cold
a combination unimaginable
I tried my best to escape this feeling
Yet in this cursed position
being consumed is the final consequence
I am walking on this fine line called Life
where I was told when I was born
that I will stray and get lost
that I will run and stumble
that I will be banged and eaten
that this is not a land of bliss
but a world of misery
I did not believe in all these before
but now I do.
