Fading Away

So hot and so vivid,
that we were.
Passionate, lustful and sincere,
unobstructed;
that we were.

When it went wrong,
where it became a lie,
I am uncertain.
We just stumbled upon on our doom
and we were obstructed;
that we were.

Rawness in your eyes, dimmed
Longing in your kiss, vanished
Yearning for me in your soul, dissipated
and we faded away,
that we did.

Your arms no longer warmed me,
your smile cold and distant
we became estranged
and we faded away.
That we did.

When and where,
I am uncertain.
We stumbled upon on our doom.
No longer we're one and together
only residues left now.

Maybe it was never real,
or maybe it was just fascination
and infatuation.
