Fleeting Lover

Poetry By: NazireC
Poetry

This is a short poem I wrote about a broken love.
I believe this was inspired by a certain situation I witnessed.

"Fleeting"

Life slowly trembling away,
purpose draining out of existence,
emotions astray.
Chaos at my doorstep.

Melancholy sun,
Dimmed moon,
Where had the beauty of it all gone to?

In this Godless,
fearless,
darkness,
heartless,
lightless
Forgotten and Forbidden
City;
The Hell you abandoned me in--
Without the expense of guilt or,
a proper goodbye.

All changed, forever,
For you; stopped the wheels of destiny,
My fate has now been sullied.

Blinded by the bitter after taste,
Thrown out efforts and time without a blink
Without hesistation to doubt,
Love abruptly came to an end by your side.
Leaving it' place to sorrow and misery,
Sadness and pain.
Shards of a broken heart,
Rarely comes to your mind.

Slowly, with the coming up autumn,
My love has died at your hands,
At the price of my broken heart,
My Soul has been tortured,
My heart, buried
You have fled cowardly,
Without a hesistation.

You, the fleeting lover without guilt!
