Childhood fairytale

Poetry By: neji chan

Another attempt at poetry! After all, if Edgar Allan Poe can do it, then so can I! Wait, that's not a good comparison. That's like comparing cockroaches to bunny rabbits-Me being the cockroach in this simile.

Fun summer days and a sweet night's dream.

Angels lightly kiss her cheek and guards her while she sleeps.

Her life is like a fairytale-without a care in the world

Without people to judge her

Without any thing to fear

She doesn't have to fear anything, her parents keep her safe.

Golden summer days and sweet winter nights pass.

Soon she is an adult and she must leave her safe haven-her fairytale-her childhood.

Yes, the years have passed and now she must grow up.
