The dreamer of a hundred dreams
Sees failure in his most tried reach
Sees nothing where hope is usually found
And expects to never get up off the ground
The dreamer of a hundred dreams
Thinks life is always what it seems
Thinks there is no reason to fight
Because as "weak" as he is, there's not enough time
The dreamer of a hundred dreams
Wishes he had more self-esteem
So he could see the end
Instead of figuring out where to begin
However this dreamer is more than he thinks
If only his dreams and thoughts would sync
He needs his stumbles, falls, and hauls,
For that is how experience can install
The pride, the appreciation that builds inside,
What is success without knowing the cries,
The tries, and the fight that got you there
Perhaps the dream starts before one is aware...
