A chance meeting of brothers....
Brother is It really is you,
How long has it been?
Bitter words at parting,
And so many bad dreams.
You look well but older,
You say I look a touch gray,
You ask after the family,
I tell they miss you each day.
Always the rebel I say,
I conformed you reply,
Come home and we can all be sorry,
You just avoid my eyes.
An exchange of numbers,
Brothers we shall always be I say,
A shake of hands at the bus station,
A glimmer of hope in a chance meeting today.
