Abandoned wife.

She never got over him leaving,

Her heart and soul broken,

Left with young children and loneliness,

Few words of him are spoken.

Why, why did he leave her,

Eating her up so bad,

Child support money helps,

But she needs her husband, the kids their dad.

The years passed and the kids grew,

Problems solved on her own,

Yet she still has feelings for him,

Memories and photo’s in the marital home.

She can’t move on to find love,

She still believes he will return,

Hope dies last she believes,

So her broken heart continues to burn.
