Mind against the steel.
Slice, slice, slice,
It takes away the pain,
Tormented and confused inside,
This struggle is driving me insane.
No friends or family want to help,
They ignore the way I feel,
Don’t want to be a burden,
Glad Release with the steel.
Hurts a little at first,
Then my torment flows away,
Gone too far too stop this now,
Nobody but the voices care anyway.
Can’t control my emotions,
The same battles every day,
The voices say they want me,
As mum and dad turn away.
Scarred for life with self pity,
Perhaps someone may take note,
Come to realise my struggle and help,
Before the steel reaches my throat.
