Waking Burns My Hopes And Dreams
I'm dozing into a sweet surrender
Where my fantasies thrive
And wishes splendor.
The only place where my heart can sing freely
Where my mind hasn't cage me
Where "natural laws" don't control me.
I'll soar through the air
Flying higher and higher
Dropping into freefalls without a care.
I'll walk through forests
Amongst luch evergreens
And wildlife staring in curiosity.
This painted canvas
Only i can see,
Colors vividly standing
Like protruding neon spikes
Pricking at my eyes
As every sensation
Slowly dies.
My world is fading
As my eyes are opening
I'll see you next time
My sweet dreamland
But for now keep growing
On memories forgotten
And remind me of them later
In endless rows of garlands,
Of hopes and dreams forlorn
