I took a trip
down the memory lane
and felt the chill
of frozen time
The ice and snow
that encompassed
the warming hearth
of eternal life
The frozen smile
of ancient fossil
feels warmer than
the living whoop
The sun still rules
the aging earth
as it did
the swaying cradle
Whats it then
that lives in death
abandoned but
the dying life?

I like this. Rings a bit with a poem on my page I wrote called "An Old Friend", where the memories from yesterday are most vivid.
