An easy heart

Poetry By: Nixie

Well, I've been trying to finish so many short stories, that this was actually light entertainment for me. Hope you like it.

I wear it like a jumper,
I hold it like it's a toy,
Still functioning in my hands
Against the shrill of your joy.
See, there's the wars I've won,
All the wars I've lost,
There's the feast I had myself
And the price it cost.
There's my emotional baggage,
The lovers still at sea,
Floating in my gustily passions
Like some regular cavalry.
Here - I hand it over,
You cradle it in both hands.
This vessel is yours not mine
Do with it what you can!
