A sound.

Take it off, your protection from me.

Let it out, let yourself breathe.

Come on, let me see,

the girl you, you wanted to be.

It'll lift you up, and bring you down.

But do you know, what i've found?

I've found that, if you give life a sound,

it turns everything all around.

That is why I came here to you,

I needed to tell you what to do.

You need a spirit to carry you through,

to the place you'll find your voice.

Don't worry, it'll only be your choice.

Drop back down, when you're done,

tell me how, the struggle was won.

Your new voice, let me hear it.

No, no, let me fear it.

Even though this is my doing, and it's done,

I feel this is not my victory;

Your new voice will set you free,

but your new voice isn't meant for me.
