Connected Generations.

Poetry By: Ohioguy
Poetry

This is something that I do occasionally. I pick a word, and try to just write off of the top of my head and eventually connect it to something personal in the shortest amount of time possible. It's an exercise in vocabulary, expression, and thought that I quite enjoy. This turned into something relating to the interesting quality of my family. My father, not long after he married my mother and conceived me, went insane. Among other things he raped several women, and I have at least one half-sibling that I know about. A younger sister, that I could easily try to contact but I just never have. This is sort of a way to describe to her our situation and why I haven't.

There's something so ridiculous,

about these resistless participants.

Is there a connection,

when there's no recollection -

Of this boring attraction.

Born in nakedness,

conceived in wickedness.

Guilty of our own existence.

Call it carelessness,

it's just my preference.

To me, its irrelevance -

Is incredulous.

I'm just not one for experiments,

when their resonance -

Could be used for reference of negligence,

and malevolence.
