To trust another to see inside
I think not, for I have
and it is for not
I trust knowone but myself
that is how it will be done
encapsulated by my love
my love for me, so shall be done

Thank you Nixie, Funny your interpretation was so positive about loving yourself. I see that now, because I wrote it from the prespective that you protect yourself and your heart once it has been damaged or hurt...thank you again so much Olwen

I read this differently. Your heart has been hurt so now you only love yourself. Your comment confirmed this interpretation.

Of course, this is a tough way to live. Sometimes the pain is necessary.
