This is commentary on rebellion, oppression, dictatorship, government censoring/propoganda. This is inspired by my Global class and what we've been learning about this year. The idea of soul-force comes from Ghandi's rebellion in India, in which he encouraged his people to rebel non-violenty, as it would take more effect than if they started bloodshed and war. I believe he was right. The actions the British took on Indians made the world empathize and support the Indians and hate the British for what they did. Their actions crashed British economy. The British eventually had to withdraw from India to save face and to save money.
Ghandi is one of my idols, and he is a very interesting historical figure to study.
Enjoy :) Tell me what your opinion on this is!!
