A sad tale I came up with from a picture prompt in creative writing club. The picture was of an old door on the side of a house with chipped paint, and overgrown grass that would probably come up to someone's knees.
A good accompanying song for this would be 'The Lighthouse's Tale' by Nickel Creek.
Enjoy!
