Is anyone of us perfect
We do all we can to be
The effort it takes to connect
To that which is inside of me
What is perfection measured by
Is it your way or maybe mine
Deep within a frantic cry
To reach that which is sublime
For you it means one thing
For me it might mean another
the exertion it will bring
when we try to mimic each other
what use is there in this
let’s be what we’re purposed to be
we might find it total bliss
if you are you and I am just me
