Centre stage

Poised and ready

All that was, is to be

Centre stage

And she takes flight

Wondrous, just the sight

 

Stage right

Breathless in exhilaration

All balanced on perfection

Stage right

Her foot but a move misplaced

Perfect precision defaced

 

Stage wing

All that was, will never be

Failure of a destiny

Stage wing

But a wing of failure to be?

Or perhaps an alternate destiny
