Almighty Blue

Poetry By: parkelis

Read through my words. There is pain from my creator.

I waited endlessly for the halt of ocean flow,
Only to find I bore a fruit that would never grow.
Oh almighty, what is this cruelty immense?
Of the thoughts that filled my mind, I must now de-dense.
Yes, yes, there are seeds of mine, but no such sprouts.
Encounters with my "sacred garden" are rather toxic bouts.
A desert of desolate ruins is I.
Alone, my time will hastily pass…by and by.
There goes the plan that I foresaw.
For in the blueprint of my body, there laid an inherent flaw.
So long go the days of love, life, wishes, and chance.
Lord, you've cut the thread of them all with a lance.
The end of my family's world, with me, will come.
Adam's father, to you, I swear not to keep mum.
You've stolen from me life, and I, now from you.

Grab my neck and squeeze. Tight…tighter! Blue.
