Rumors are spreading,
Spreading like wildfire,
Wildfire is burning,
Burning etches into the skin,
Skin that scars,
Scars that never fade,
Fades that imprint,
Imprint on the mind
Mind that loses control,
Control of a life,
Life is more than the moments,
Moments that are meant to mean,
Mean, what does it mean to be,
Be, is it as easy as it seems,
Seems to be a life that’s lost its way,
Way we want it to pave,
Pave out the path,
Path of a pre-inscribed narrative by the laws of God,
God, my lord, save me, save…
Save me from a wretched world,
World filled with rumors.
