Basking In the Sun

Salad days and hazy ways, basking in the sun
Days when youth was on my side
Life was full of fun.
Now darkened days replace the sun
Rainbows are rarely seen.

I'm left with only memories
All I can do is dream
And hope that for just one more time
I can return to those days of long ago , of
Salad days and hazy ways, basking in the sun
