It keeps on raining all day long
Never seizing to a halt.
It seems like everything is all wrong,
Is this all my fault?
Can the clouds just clear away for one day
Letting the sun shine through?
I wish it would happen today
And not become permanent like a tattoo.
I guess this is how its going to be,
Until I become brand new,
I will sit on my knees and count to three,
And on two I’ll say adieu.
So now I walk back to the Sunkist skies,
And look for the stars that shine like eyes.
