I saw the first meteor
Swooping across the sky
Leaving its rainbow trail
Behind.
How beautiful and exciting
To see this phenomenom
That streaks across my vision
And brightens my smile.
Meteors like a forgotten wisp
Of love that is bright and sparkling new
Only to burn out and become
Colors of memories.
Colorful and precious.
Many at once flooding your vision
Curving your lips into that smile
Of a forgotten love.
Meteors of light and colors
The sky is alive
With natures wonderment
and endless renewal.
The nights dark, clear sky
Ablaze with light and movement
Like the many facets
Of our lives, our hopes, our dreams.
