There are many times
I have wished myself
A good man
A kind man!
To romance and
Treat so special
To be unconditional
As he is with me
To put that note
In his pocket
To find later
And smile.
What good fortune
have I found?
Or has he found me?
To be a friend
A lover, partner.
Will he accept flowers
From a woman?
Or that hot dinner
After a hard days work?
Or that touch
That says it all.
Or that look
That tells him
She wants him
Now
And later
And always!
