Wandering back and forth through a veil of fears,
Disastrously waiting on a trickle of light to appear,
Pacing, pondering, praying for a sign of the truth,
To replace the crippling fear saying I've nothing to lose.
Haunted by icons, words and symbols of hate,
An undying scream in my head that its too late,
Nothing repairs and replaces the sparks of candlelight.
Shadows still haunt you and linger on your face,
Remembering that you'll be stalked by what you cannot escape,
Shrieking and promising the end of all days.
