Love like winter,
Cold as ice,
Flakes of folly fall fast,
Blot out the sun.
Arms that hold the heart
High in the sky;
And lies that fly like birds
Through whispering, whining wind.
Sorrow sings in snow
That falls on starving hearts,
Left hungry by the lack of live--
Love like winter.
