Don’t listen to her stories
Don’t feed into her lies
You’ll never grow to be her
Or sink to her demise.
Don’t tell her that you love her
Don’t encourage her to try
We gave up oh so long ago
So now just say goodbye.
Don’t laugh at what she tells you
Don’t smile at her banter
She’s sick and needs to be removed
She’s our family's cancer.
I listen from her bedroom door
As she says this in a whisper
Contaminating the little minds
Of my brother and my sister.
She says they’ll never be like me
She knows they’re so much better
She told them just to stay away
Children, just forget her!
But am I actually that bad?
There’s no one else that thinks so
But since my mother says I am
I’ll listen to her plea, and go.
