I was the first born
Your darling daughter
Swept under the rug
When I got a step-father.
I was your world
Your undying light
But you gave it all up
It just isn’t right.
You gave up on me
You threw me away
And when they were born
I had nothing to say.
Favorites, favorites
You love them the best
You gave them the world
And said screw the rest.
I tried and I tried
To gain back your love
But I was kicked out the door
With one final shove.
You just couldn’t wait
Til that wonderful day
When I finally grew up
And moved far away.
Now you have the perfect life
You have your perfect kids
So I’ll forget the memories
Beneath these eyelids.
Fuck you and all of the
Pain that you brought
Love and approval
Was all that I sought.
My mother, my blood
I cringe at your touch
I didn’t know
I could hate you so much.
