Weary                                                Phoenix Nicholson   8 Feb 2013

Begin the unending pretense
Ancient smileshirt covers scars
Bruised plans display broken defense
Searching heart travelled too far
Memories recurring I shouldn't keep
Sharp unfocused wonderings slain
Oppressed disgust waking dreams of sleep
Pangs boring misery into veins

Weary teary nearly dead
Zombie marching spouting words
Wind up find out ground up unfed
Listening but never heard
