Love Was In Your Touch
Love was in your touch and everything I wanted your love was sure to give.
Love is in every time we speak and every moment that we spend.
Your love was in those freezing nights that seem to only get colder and it warmed me like a blanket, see your love offered me a shoulder.
& When I needed an ear you were always there to listen
& even though they speak so badly of you, through your good times no ones their to witness.
But me, I was there, I can see what's inside.
I know the good in you even the stuff you try to hide.
Your love is in my every thought, it has my full attention.
Your embrace is like a poisonous snake and your love is an addictive venom.
I forget the bad when your near me, it's like the stress just fades away.
& even though the issues of tomorrow remain the same you cure the ones of today.
Your love is in my laughter, it's in my ever lasting smiles.
It's in my walk , in my talk, in my swag, in my style.
The negativity whispers tellin me to leave you cause I don't mean much to you.
But I know just what they don't and I know that's far from true.
