Rain.
(c) 1986.By Poetlife.
Pale, cool,
Nature's brush
Water colour skies washed
In liquid tones of grey,
Surround the day.
Symphony of rain, falling, falling,
Gently calling,
Accompanied by nature's feeling,
Clear, clean crystal resounding,
Green leaves clean sparkling,
Satin faced shining.
Rain drops gently falling, falling,
Patterns in thirsty earth foaming
In shades nature providing,
Framed in gentle , whispy rain falling
Carried on wind surrounding
Nature in perfect harmony.
Morning glory contrasting,
In shades of violet and blue,
Bell shaped faces open up
To
Reveal pale thirsty throats of mauve and blue,
Against nature's restful hue.
Sunlight bursting through,
Golden shafts of misty light,
Reflecting rainbow hues.
Dripping leaves weighed down,
Runlets forming. dripping, falling,
Whispy, light steam rising
From the forest, clean and new.
Bright, golden reflections,
Captured in nature's crystal
Of rainbow hues.
Delicate songs uplifting,
Little birds singing in tune.
