Seasons Of Life. (c) 1986.By Poetlife.
(Allegory of life.)
Spring of life
New and young,
Delicate dew
Of
Early dawn.
First spring flowers of brilliant hues,
Young sappling green fresh and new,
Untouched, unchanged within,
God"s creation.
We grow rest and play,
Frolic the long days away.
In innocent wonder
Reach out to one another,
Impatient to know life's splendour.
The young tree has grown
Much stronger now.
Wealth of life's knowledge
Deep within her boughs.
Lessons learned in many things,
We look back on our spring.
She stumbles and falls
Gets up and goe's on
From the pain.
Grows within
For she is young and strong.
She sees the autumn creeping in,
Cool mornings dawning,
Filled with colours nature brings,
Leaves flutter gently falling
Carried on the autumn wind.
She feels the winter chill come on,
Crisp the cold wind howls,
Harshly taken from her boughs,
Her autumn gown of golds and browns,
She will remain
Bare and tall,
In naked splendour
Standing tall.
