THAT TIME OF THE SUMMER

Sun crisp morning dews.

Laughter joy children spew.

Girls with fancy ribbon blue.

Men with jokes that seem so true.

Lovers holding hands with bliss.

Basket fulls of morsel bits.

Cheers reel the three legged race.

MOM'S apple pie, with fluffy lace.

The band plays with solid songs.

The sun goes down, not too long.

So the games come to an end.

PICNIC JOY walking home with a friend.
