Soft is the breeze.
Filters through trees.
Brings us to our knees.
Then just seems to flee.
Soft clouds drifting by.
In the moon lite sky.
Quiet, to our tired eye.
Stillness, like butter on rye.
Warm coffee in the cup.
Full plate at the sup.
Quiet, that is what we want.

Very cleven and brimming with truth. Being a native New Yorker and having worked for most of my life in a painfully busy environment I know that I treasure my quiet time most. Those are truly golden moments and your poem captures them quite nicely. Thank you for a soothing read.

Simply "liked It"......in fact loved it.Short sweet, soft and hot at the same time like a coffee.
