Papa and Me

Poetry By: PossiblyMine

This is something I wrote on the 6 year anniversary of my grandpa's death. It's not the best, I kinda threw it together, but I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Six Years Ago

Seems A Long Time Away
That Was The Day
You Would Say Goodbye
You Left The World With Peace
But Here I Am In Pieces
Still Missing Being Your Little Girl
Sitting On Your Lap
Both Of Us In Our Little Train Caps
Smiles And Giggles Never Ending
You Laughing At My Funny Nose
Me Smiling And Saying I Wanna Be Just Like You
The Day You Left I Was Nine
And Not Even Time Can Take Away All The Pain I Still Feel
Papa, I Miss You Being Here
Papa, I Love You.
