to my dearest saviour Jesus
or whatsoever good spirit in heaven
i pray that you bless this pen
that is writing this poem
to glorify you
lord i ask of you
to be my muse
on this imagainary mount olympus
jesus or god or good spirit
from heaven
i ask of you to give the courage
to follow through with this dream
for i am a poor poet
lord as i walk this lonely poetic desert
i ask of you to be my guide
for i know not when i'll see the ocean
lord i ask of you on this miserable writing journey
to grant strength, your strength to contiune to use what
you have bless me with
lord jesus give me the honor of singing praises to you
for you not just a god of poets but of singers
and let my angelic voice reach the heavens to you
lord god of poets, singers, writers and artists
all i ask of you is let your holy spirit help me to contuine this work quietly
but there is one thing lord that i ask of you
is me this weary and poor poet
should not be forgotten
lord god of all artistic people
i ask of you again
grant us our desires
that we should be rewared for labour
lord god of all people
may our songs and poems
bring praise to you in the heavens
