Another Sleepless night

And when they fall they fall Leaving nothing behind but invisible tracks Of self doubt Is there self worth? They come for blood They come for vengeance Yet always leave us comforted. The salt in the wound that self heals us And yet they leave a bitter taste They mock us and call us foolish For we are But not to worry strength follows close behind But the tracks remain forever For when they return They will take the same path.
