I'm a navy blue rose
Among the bluebonnets
That is
My Family

I'm a white arctic fox
But prepared to use my wits
Against you
And Hide

A small and tiny spy
With Scottish flecks of brown
On snow skin
And sea eyes

I am a green emerald
Deep, dark
But sometimes a shining gem
On the day

I'm a navy blue rose
Out of place
Among those unlike myself
Though they are
My family
