The answers pretty obvious.

Children love to climb on me,

I live in a lee,

The birds make a nest

To me they are pests,

My rough skin

Is very thin,

I have red and purple hair

And what I wear

Is a simple brown coat,

I live near a moat,

I can live for 1000 years

I live near the river Weir,

I'm stuck to the ground

Living on a mound

What am I?
