Hell
breaks lose
into the
dark, shivering
moonlit nightime, in the dangerous streets.
Wizards walk,
Vampires talk,
Fairies float,
Monsters gloat,
Animals amble,
Sorcerores scramble,
Princesses patter,
Pumpkins chatter.
Hell
Awakes and
Lingers around the houses.
Lily-livered grown ups are petrified
Out of their wits and
With no good nearby
Evil creeps in on them.
Every adult near runs away.
Neglecting the valiant children.
